Skills / Qualifications The Head of eCommerce will lead the overall development and management of our online channel retail operations for each brand, including: web and mobile sites/apps development & content, marketing, sales processing distribution partnerships, logistical capability, customer services and back-end processes.
This role will work closely with the Brand teams to drive the business to achieve our omnichannel vision.

Duties and Responsibilities
 Develop, execute and drive our e-commerce business model, providing thought leadership and process improvement for e-commerce and omni-channel strategy and implementation
 Achieve business P&L
 Constantly innovate to maximize sales and marketing reach
 Ensuring order management is effective to reduce returns, delays, payment and quality issues
 Responsible for speed of delivery ever improving
 Provide price estimates and delivery dates for the support and development of projects
 Provide brand partners (merchandising, product, and marketing) with key insights from website leveraging site/web analytics
 Build budgets for seasonal SKU ordering
 Responsible for optimizing site experience to drive conversion, look/feel, site taxonomy, site search and cross sales
 Responsible for all traffic driving initiates
 Collaborate with technology partners and cross functional groups within AK to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of development and support activities
 Build an effective and creative team, that can ensure a 24/7 eCommerce platform
 Provide analysis and recommendations for technology risks and potential issues
 Conduct periodic reviews with partners on SLA’s, performance metrics, escalations, change requests and improvement plans
 Strong project management abilities; able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight time constraints and within budget parameters.
 Communicate and train customer service / support personnel on new site features and releases
 Participate in the high level technical solution and design during the implementation phase with the goal of providing reliable, stable and operationally sound applications that meet business requirements
 Ensure timely updates of products and campaigns
 Regularly report on key KPI improvements used to measure the business’ performance

Additional Notes Required Education & Skills
 Bachelor’s degree
 Five plus years’ experience in building complete e-commerce and omni-channel commerce
 Experience driving campaigns and customer engagement, directly or indirectly impacting conversion, with a proven focus on ROI
 Exceptional leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and relationship management abilities to get things done for multiple brand platforms
 Strong knowledge of eCommerce technology, tools, integrations and platforms
 Ability to work independently, whilst collaborating effectively
 Ability to manage priorities and cross-functional teams
 Experience with digital marketing or web analytics (Omniture, Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc.)
 Ability to assess disparate and sophisticated data streams and distill them into meaningful and, ultimately, actionable strategic recommendations
 Courage to confidently express an independent point of view
 Active problem solver with passion, grit and energy to succeed in a company that is in growth mode
 Strategic and creative thinker, that develops big, disruptive ideas deeply rooted in customer insights
 Strong communicator with the ability to manage client expectations through both formal and informal communication channels
 Experience with search engines and search technologies
 Ability to articulate business value of e-commerce investments/projects and collaborate with partners and cross functional groups during implementations
 Ability to work with multi-national teams, understand and respect cultural diversity and develop messages that help achieve objectives with diverse audiences
